Paraguay is a country famous for its hospitality and every year, thousands of people from many countries make Paraguay their choice of destination for a wonderful holiday or vacation. Many others, charmed by its people and its wonders have returned to make Paraguay their home. Thus, Paraguay has sizeable Japanese, German, French, Belgian, Korean and Chinese communities.
Beginning in 1936, the first Japanese immigrants arrived in Paraguay, and through the years, their numbers have increased to some 10,000 now. Their experience has become a significant part of Paraguayan history, as they have helped to dramatically transform its agricultural landscape by sharing their skills in the production of a wide variety of new crops.
As a developing country, Paraguay also seeks to become the home of people who can successfully apply their skills and knowhow for differents kinds of production: cattle raising, farming, small scale business, large scale industries. And it offers the most comprehensive array of tax and other benefits to make it even more attractive.
If you have not yet decided where to relocate, or where you can find the greatest advantages to help you make a better product or the same product at a better cost, we in this Embassy would like to help you realize why Paraguay is the best decision.
